About the Role

Confident leading on the planning application process of major projects in London and / or the South?

You could join a highly regarded boutique planning consultancy in central London led by a team of industry figure heads, currently consulting on an eclectic mix of projects; from high end bespoke projects in the RBKC, to sports stadia and major strategic schemes in the South.

My client has a well established team and is experiencing a significant phase of growth so the successful applicant would be well placed to progress and quickly become a key member of the business.

You could also enjoy working within an organisation that has a flat structure, so you would be should to shoulder with successful Directors, keen to support you in your progression. With the support of their well connected team, plentiful opportunities for business development are available so this really is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Senior or Associate Planner, who aims to become a successful fee-earning consultant.

My client is an employee owned trust so you would be directly rewarded for your positive contribution to the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the planning application process on major projects in the residential, commercial or industrial sectors.
  • Assisting Associate Directors and Directors on a diverse range of major projects.
  • Conducting research and analysis to support planning proposals.
  • Preparing planning applications and documents.
  • Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure projects meet deadlines and objectives.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Senior, Principal or Associate Town Planning Consultant
  • At least 5 years experience within a town planning role
  • MRPTI or working towards RTPI APC
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience leading the planning application process of major projects in London and / or South.
  • Eagerness to contribute to the success of projects and the team.

What You'll Gain in return for your hard work:

  • Comprehensive training and mentorship from seasoned Directors.
  • Exposure to a healthy and diversified pipeline of projects and clients.
  • Opportunities for career progression within a reputable consultancy.
  • Highly Competitive compensation package.
  • Flexible working.
  • A collaborative and supportive work environment.

Please apply here. My client is looking to find the right candidate as soon as possible - so if in doubt, do get in touch. I also have other clients and roles that may be of interest.

If you do not hear anything back within one week, please assume that you have been unsuccessful on this occasion, but I will retain your details for future roles.
