About the Role

You'll be joining a growing multidisciplinary practice with a diverse portfolio, spanning large-scale residential and mixed-use schemes through to regeneration, employment-led projects, and renewable energy. With strong client relationships and a supportive culture, this is an ideal role for someone ready to step up and lead on projects while contributing to the growth of the design offer.

 

The role will involve:

  • Leading on urban design and masterplanning projects from early feasibility through to delivery

  • Preparing masterplans, development briefs, design codes, and planning documents

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, land promoters and developers

  • Supporting business development and client relationship management

  • Mentoring junior team members and helping to shape the direction of the design team

 

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds a postgraduate qualification in Urban Design (or related discipline such as Architecture, Landscape or Planning)

  • Has UK consultancy experience delivering masterplans and mixed-use schemes

  • Demonstrates strong design flair with the ability to move from strategic concepts to detailed outputs

  • Is confident producing and presenting reports, drawings, and visual material

  • Is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp (Vectorworks/QGIS desirable)

  • Has excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills

  • Is a Chartered professional or working towards chartership (e.g. RTPI, Recognised Practitioner in Urban Design)
