About the Role
Cobalt is pleased to be partnering on the appointment of a Facilities Manager for a commercial campus that plays home to offices, retail, and leisure occupiers within the City of London.
This is a hands-on, site-based role where you'll act as the day-to-day FM lead across a vibrant and fast-paced estate. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that occupiers receive a consistent, high-quality experience across compliance, maintenance, and service delivery.
You'll be the go-to site presence for all things FM - managing daily operations, supporting compliance, and working closely with the Estate Manager and building teams to ensure things run smoothly. This is a broad role with responsibility across systems, contracts, customer service, and incident response.
Key responsibilities include:

Acting as first point of contact for occupier queries, service requests, and general FM issues

Carrying out regular site inspections and logging defects via the helpdesk

Overseeing PPM and reactive tasks using the FM system

Coordinating contractor access and ensuring use of the permit-to-work system

Supporting lift, waste, landscaping, and fabric maintenance contracts

Assisting with compliance tasks (e.g. LOLER, insurance inspections, fire door checks)

Logging incidents and supporting emergency planning and site readiness

Raising POs and tracking spend; supporting service charge invoicing for key suppliers

Maintaining accurate digital records and ensuring systems are fully updated
You'll have previous experience in facilities or property management - ideally in a multi-occupancy or campus-style environment - and feel confident leading the day-to-day on site. You'll be a calm, detail-oriented operator with a clear commitment to customer service and a proactive, solutions-led mindset. An IOSH is essential.
