General Manager

Cobalt is delighted to be partnering with a global real estate giant to appoint a General Manager for one of the City's most significant new office towers which is a cutting-edge commercial asset designed to redefine modern workspace and sustainability.

The General Manager, will take full ownership of this flagship asset from mobilisation and fit-out, through to steady-state operations and long-term placemaking.

You'll be responsible for all operational, financial, and occupier-facing aspects of the building. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll lead a multidisciplinary team and ensure world-class standards are achieved across service delivery, compliance, innovation, and customer experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading all aspects of daily operations across a major commercial high-rise

• Managing building mobilisation, fit-outs, tenant onboarding and early-stage processes

• Setting up FM and compliance systems, contracts, and documentation

• Coordinating multi-stakeholder relationships across occupiers, contractors, consultants, and asset managers

• Delivering against a multi-million-pound service charge budget with accuracy and insight

• Leading on ESG, sustainability, and smart technology adoption

• Developing a culture of safety, service, and continuous improvement

• Acting as a trusted senior figure within the wider property and asset management team

As the successful applicant, you'll be a visible and strategic leader, comfortable working under pressure and committed to delivering a best-in-class building experience from day one. Prior experience in managing large scale assets is essential whilst a NEBOSH qualification would be looked upon favourably. We are looking for a proven Facilities leader with first-class client engagement skills.
