About the Role
Graduate Engineer (Temporary Works)
A truly exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Engineer to join a world leading engineering team working on innovative solutions for the construction industry. This role will suit someone with a strong academic background in civil or structural engineering who is looking to gain hands-on experience in product development and project delivery.
The Role
You will be involved in every stage of product and project development, from concept through to completion. This includes design, structural analysis, and technical documentation, as well as having the opportunity to support installation projects on site. The role offers the chance to develop a deep understanding of temporary works, structural systems, and construction engineering, while also providing exposure to client interaction and supplier engagement.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting with tenders, presentations, and marketing support
* Product design, development, and structural calculations
* Preparation of technical drawings and documentation
* Providing technical support to projects and installations
* Handling enquiries from clients and internal teams
* Working with suppliers and external consultants to resolve technical matters
* Attending client meetings and industry events
About You
Our client is looking for a truly motivated graduate with a genuine interest in engineering and construction. The ideal candidate will have:
* OND, BSc, BEng, or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Familiarity with Office 365 and 2D/3D drafting or modelling software
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
* Practical knowledge of scaffolding or temporary works (advantageous but not essential)
* Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with clients and colleagues
