About the Role

You may have already consulted on the planning application process of some major TCPA or DCO infrastructure projects and perhaps you are now seeking a new challenge?

 

As an Infrastructure Planner, you could join a unique team globally renowned for being first choice for managing some of the most high-profile projects in the UK and abroad.

 

This is a rare opportunity to further your development and add a few strings to your bow with the option to rotate between development management, policy planning and infrastructure planning with the support of a collaborative team, passionate about planning and keen to provide opportunities for growth at all levels.

 

In this role, you could advance your career and open many doors with greater exposure to a wider variety of sectors including; Water, Rail, Nuclear, Solar, Hydro, Energy Transmission.

 

My client encourages flexible working and operates out of an incredible office with a rooftop bar in central London, where they host regular socials during the summer months!

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting senior colleagues on a diverse range of projects or managing projects (experience depending)
  • Conducting research and analysis to support planning proposals.
  • Preparing planning applications and documents.
  • Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure projects meet deadlines and objectives.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Town Planners to Principal or Associate Town Planners in the public or private sector.
  • At least 3 years experience within a town planning role
  • Ideally Chartered Member of RTPI but not essential.
  • Confident advising clients or internal and external project stakeholders (experience depending)
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Eagerness to contribute to the success of projects and the team.
  • Experience assisting or managing TCPA or DCO projects.
