About the Role

Multi-Site General Manager

The organisation

We are partnering leading operator within the build to rent sector to appoint a Multi-Site General Manager for their East London portfolio.

Our client operates a growing portfolio of professionally managed rental homes and is committed to delivering a service-led resident experience. With continued investment across London, this organisation offers stability, progression and exposure to a dynamic rental market.

The role and responsibilities

As Multi-Site General Manager, you will support the Head of Resident Services in the safe and effective management of a multi-asset residential portfolio in East London.

The Multi-Site General Manager will lead the on site teams across multiple schemes, ensuring operational performance, service delivery and compliance standards are met.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading and developing on-site teams to deliver a consistent resident experience.
* Supporting the Regional General Manager with oversight of operational performance.
* Acting as escalation point for resident enquiries, complaints and incidents.
* Overseeing move-in and move-out processes across the portfolio.
* Managing contractor performance and inspecting completed works.
* Supporting service improvement initiatives across sites.
* Monitoring budgets and reporting performance against KPIs.
* Promoting safe working practices, including compliance with health and safety legislation and COSHH.

The Multi-Site General Manager will maintain visibility across all schemes and ensure operational standards align with portfolio objectives.

Skills and experience required

We are seeking a Multi-Site General Manager with working knowledge of residential management, build to rent or hospitality-led environments.

The successful Multi-Site General Manager will demonstrate:

* Working knowledge of managing multi-site residential or hospitality operations.
* Experience leading and developing operational teams.
* Working knowledge of recruitment and team development.
* Experience delivering resident engagement initiatives or events.
* Working knowledge of service improvement planning.
* Experience monitoring budgets and reporting performance data.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to build collaborative relationships across teams.
* A resilient and organised approach to operational management.
* Working knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.
