About the Role

We have a new opportunity for a qualified Project Architect to join a multidisciplinary design team working on a range of residential and commercial projects across the Northwest and beyond. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a collaborative, planning-led environment, with access to in-house expertise in master-planning, urban design, landscape, and infrastructure.

The practice is part of a wider group known for its people-first, employee-owned culture and commitment to design quality and staff development. You'll be joining a supportive team with a strong CPD programme, clear career progression pathways, and the opportunity to work on projects from concept through to site.

The role will involve:

Leading projects across all RIBA stages, from early concept to construction
Producing detailed architectural drawing packages, specs, and construction documentation
Chairing meetings and recording actions
Acting as contract administrator (JCT Minor Works and RIBA Domestic contracts)
Carrying out site inspections and ensuring technical compliance
Liaising with internal teams and external consultants to drive quality outcomes

We're looking for someone who:

Is a fully qualified Architect with UK project experience
Has delivered projects in both the residential and commercial sectors
Can manage multiple stakeholders and communicate confidently
Is proficient in Auto CAD, Revit, Adobe Photo shop & In Design (Sketch Up desirable)
Has strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction and delivery
Is commercially aware and confident working to budgets and deadlines
Holds a full UK driving license
