About the Role

Cobalt is working with a highly regarded UK property developer to recruit a Project Manager to join their delivery team, focusing on large-scale industrial and logistics projects across the country. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in bringing major developments from conception through to completion.

The Organisation

This established developer has built a strong reputation for creating high-quality, sustainable industrial and logistics schemes. Their work spans from speculative multi-unit developments to bespoke design-and-build logistics hubs for blue-chip occupiers. The company offers a collaborative culture, a strong pipeline of projects, and the opportunity to influence major UK regeneration and employment sites.

The Role

As Project Manager, you'll oversee projects through all phases of the development cycle - from pre-construction through to practical completion - ensuring that programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to a best-in-class standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing industrial and logistics projects across multiple sites, ensuring delivery to specification and budget.
  • Coordinating design, planning, and construction teams to achieve smooth project execution.
  • Overseeing external consultants and contractors, ensuring alignment with programme milestones.
  • Supporting pre-acquisition and feasibility work with technical and delivery insight.
  • Reporting on progress, risks, and value engineering opportunities.

Skills & Experience Required

  • A proven track record in managing large industrial or logistics construction projects.
  • Working knowledge of JCT and/or Design & Build contracts.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • The ability to balance commercial understanding with technical and delivery expertise.
  • Professional qualifications such as MRICS, MAPM, or MCIOB are advantageous but not essential.

Why Apply?

This is a chance to join a forward-thinking developer with a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and high-quality delivery. You'll be part of a close-knit team with a reputation for shaping some of the UK's most successful industrial and logistics schemes.

Interviews are being arranged shortly, so apply now to avoid missing out.
