About the Role

We have a new opportunity for a Senior Architect to join a multidisciplinary design team based in the North West, working across a wide range of residential and commercial projects. This is an excellent step for a qualified architect with over 5 years' experience who's ready to take on more responsibility in design delivery and team leadership.

You'll be part of a collaborative, planning-led practice within an employee-owned group that includes in-house expertise across architecture, landscape, transport, and sustainability. The role offers a blend of creative freedom and strategic oversight, with exposure to a variety of projects and clients.

The role will involve:

  • Leading and managing projects through all RIBA work stages

  • Producing technical drawing packages, specifications, and construction documentation

  • Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams

  • Preparing fee proposals, tender submissions, and project schedules

  • Chairing meetings and overseeing design coordination

  • Acting as contract administrator (JCT Minor Works and RIBA Domestic)

  • Carrying out site inspections and ensuring design and technical quality

  • Delegating and mentoring junior team members

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is a qualified Architect with 5+ years of post-qualification experience

  • Has delivered projects in the residential and commercial sectors

  • Can lead teams and coordinate design across multiple disciplines

  • Communicates clearly and professionally with all stakeholders

  • Is commercially aware and comfortable working to deadlines and budgets

  • Is proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign (SketchUp desirable)

  • Holds a full UK driving licence
