About the Role

We have a new opportunity for a Senior Architect to join a multidisciplinary design team based in the North West, working across a wide range of residential and commercial projects. This is an excellent step for a qualified architect with over 5 years' experience who's ready to take on more responsibility in design delivery and team leadership.

You'll be part of a collaborative, planning-led practice within an employee-owned group that includes in-house expertise across architecture, landscape, transport, and sustainability. The role offers a blend of creative freedom and strategic oversight, with exposure to a variety of projects and clients.

The role will involve:

Leading and managing projects through all RIBA work stages
Producing technical drawing packages, specifications, and construction documentation
Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
Preparing fee proposals, tender submissions, and project schedules
Chairing meetings and overseeing design coordination
Acting as contract administrator (JCT Minor Works and RIBA Domestic)
Carrying out site inspections and ensuring design and technical quality
Delegating and mentoring junior team members

We're looking for someone who:

Is a qualified Architect with 5+ years of post-qualification experience
Has delivered projects in the residential and commercial sectors
Can lead teams and coordinate design across multiple disciplines
Communicates clearly and professionally with all stakeholders
Is commercially aware and comfortable working to deadlines and budgets
Is proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign (SketchUp desirable)
Holds a full UK driving licence
