Senior Development Manager - PBSA

Cobalt are proud to be working exclusively with one of the UK's leading BTR developers who are seeking a Senior Development Manager to help lead on their PBSA projects.

Roles and responsibilities include;

• MUST have direct PBSA experience
• Secure planning permissions and negotiate associated planning agreements
• Collaborate with planning teams on public and political engagement strategies
• Maximise development value and support/understand development appraisals
• Incorporate brand standards into developments for long-term sustainability and service excellence
• Identify and implement innovative development solutions using sound business judgment
• Appoint and manage specialist consultants, including fee negotiations and performance monitoring
• Conduct site feasibility assessments and support site acquisition processes
• Manage legal obligations, risks, and contractual requirements throughout development
• Review and negotiate development agreements and manage their implementation
• Prepare development reports and regularly update the Board and investors
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, investors, consultants, and local authorities
• Champion organisational goals and key strategic projects
