Site Manager

We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a school refurbishment project in Dudley.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised Site Manager to join a live education project, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the site.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with health and safety legislation.
• Monitor project progress and maintain programme deadlines.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular site inspections.
• Liaise with the client, subcontractors, and project team to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Maintain high standards of quality and site housekeeping.

Essential Requirements

• SSSTS or SMSTS.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• First Aid at Work certificate.
• Previous experience managing refurbishment projects.
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable

• Joinery background.
• Previous Enhanced DBS certificate.
