Technical Manager

You'll be joining a close-knit team with a strong track record of developing bespoke housing in some of the South East's most desirable locations. The role offers broad exposure, autonomy, and a collaborative environment with excellent long-term stability.

The role will involve:

• Managing the production, review and distribution of technical information to meet programme and quality requirements

• Coordinating consultant appointments, scopes and tender returns

• Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and ensuring regulatory compliance

• Driving value engineering and buildability improvements across projects

• Overseeing Building Regs sign-off, planning condition clearance, warranties and legal agreements

• Leading design team meetings and ensuring all consultants are aligned on programme and budget

• Managing technical reports and surveys (site, soil, contamination etc.)

• Monitoring budgets, consultant fees, service quotes and cost control

• Keeping abreast of industry developments, regulations, and technical standards

We're looking for someone who:

• Has strong technical experience in UK housebuilding across multiple projects

• Understands NHBC standards, Building Regs, planning systems and CDM regulations

• Can confidently read, review and coordinate working drawings and design information

• Brings excellent attention to detail and a collaborative approach

• Communicates well with architects, consultants, internal teams and site staff

• Is confident taking ownership of technical delivery across residential schemes
