About the Role
A leading property consultancy is seeking to appoint a Technical Services Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to oversee a national portfolio of predominantly shopping centres. This is a key role requiring strong technical expertise, stakeholder management, and a proactive approach to compliance and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the technical management of a UK-wide portfolio, ensuring all building services and M&E systems are maintained to a high standard.

Manage planned and reactive maintenance across multiple retail sites, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and health and safety legislation.

Coordinate and oversee external contractors and service providers, ensuring performance aligns with contractual and operational expectations.

Support the delivery of capital projects and lifecycle works, providing technical input and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Drive energy efficiency initiatives and contribute to the wider sustainability strategy.

Prepare and present technical reports, audits, and performance updates to internal stakeholders and clients.
Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the property or retail sectors.

A strong background in mechanical and electrical services, with relevant technical qualifications.

IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (or working towards).

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
-
Willingness and ability to travel across the UK, with occasional overnight stays as required.

Based within a commutable distance to Dartford.
