Role:

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely recording of all property related costs according to local statutory, group guidance and lease clause requirements.

Description:

  • Provide support for month, quarter and annual property accounts (UK/IE)

  • Support preparation of property accounts audit file

  • Help to ensure Group reporting is completed

  • Help to prepare annual budget and forecast data (UK/IE)

  • Maintain database of core lease terms, update for changes (new leases, renewals, closures)

  • Prepare ad hoc reports and property related ONS forms when required

  • Maintain prepayment and accruals spreadsheets, performing regular checks and make corrections when necessary

  • Help the business prepare for the implementation of IFRS 16 by managing the UK transition

  • Raise certificates according to lease requirements

  • Oversee the signing process

  • Provide information to Auditors if required

  • Ensure landlords / agents receive signed certificates according to lease conditions

  • Provide support to Accounts team

  • Build and develop relationship with Lease Managers, Estates Manager and Legal Manager to ensure smooth working relationship

  • Maintain and build on relationships with landlords, property agents and managing agents

  • Review invoices against leases

  • Prepare balancing service charge reconciliations

  • Ensure all payments are made according to individual leases

  • Raise invoices for capital contributions and support debt collection

  • Liaise with ratings agency to identify where rebates can be achieved

  • Experience SAP preferable
