Our client is looking for several ambitious Assistant Building Managers for their trophy-asset team, having just promoted a number of their current staff into full fledged Facilities, Building, and Estate Management positions. You'll be joining one of the best names in the industry, with a well-deserved reputation for training and developing market-leading Facilities Management professionals throughout their careers.
These roles will be a key part in driving forward a modern FM service throughout large scale Grade A developments that would stand-out on any CV. Due to this, you'll find yourself in a role with plenty of variety - blending hard and soft service management into an unrivalled FM experience for your occupiers.
Key responsibilities will include:
Alongside the Building/General Manager, conducting regular site inspections;
Helping to ensure a comprehensive maintenance programme is in place, including plant upgrade works from time to time;
Helping to ensure full health and safety compliance;
Assisting with the management of the service charge budget;
Managing the works of external suppliers, taking full autonomy over certain services in time;
Assisting with/leading the management of in-house staff within the building;
Building lasting relationships with key stakeholders, foremost of all including your occupiers
Due to the nature and size of these Grade A assets, this role would suit someone with an established base of experience in assisting with managing commercial buildings previously, or potentially an existing Building Manager for a much smaller development. An IOSH would be advantageous.
