If you are a Real Estate Graduate looking to work for one of the UK's leading Corporate Real Estate Advisors, then this opportunity could be for you. My client has an impressive range of corporate occupier clients ranging from large national retailers through to major banks and corporate occupiers. The heart of this team lies in the Midlands, although my client does have the ability to take an Assistant Surveyor in their Manchester office. Day to day, the appointed Assistant Surveyor will support the Estates team managing significant portfolios on behalf of their clients. Day to day duties will include, but are not limited to:​

  • Liaise with both internal and external clients to co-ordinate database services and information.

  • Act as the main point of contact between the team and the client to control processes.

  • Source, read and interpret leases/documents/plans/photographs from clients and their advisers.

  • Liaise with Finance teams to ensure efficient collection and payment of rents.

  • Manage void and vacant properties having regard for procedures and insurers requirements.

  • Ensure tenant compliance with lease obligations.

  • Deal with tenant applications for landlords' consent for assignment, subletting and alterations.

  • Instruct third parties including solicitors, suppliers, and other business units where necessary.

  • Undertake property inspections when required.

  • Assist with service charge processes at budgeting, variance reporting and reconciliation stages.

Educated to degree level with a proven background in general practice surveying, the appointed Assistant Surveyor will possess excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work with changing priorities.
