A prestigious industrial and logistics investor and developer are currently seeking an Associate Director Development Manager to join their team based in Thames Valley/London.
You will be responsible for working closely with the Director to appraise and deliver pre-let and speculative projects in accordance with the agreed business unit development strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
Assist in the formulation and implementation of planning and development strategies.
Liaise with the Asset Management and Leasing teams to seek and deliver development opportunities.
Identify development opportunities and prepare appraisals and cash-flows to demonstrate project viability, prepare board papers to secure capital approval for speculative and pre-let schemes.
Embrace and implement best practice and enhance sustainability performance.
Undertake the preparation of planning applications and negotiations.
Provide regular updates and report on scheme costs and build timescales.
Development and measure returns (profit and cost/IRR).
Key Development Management Requirements:
Degree qualified and Member of RICS.
Commercial property development experience is essential.
Knowledge of the planning process.
Competent user of Argus Developer, Excel and other DCF techniques.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Office based in Thames Valley/Central London, they also offer a split of working from home.
Salary will range from £70,000 - £90,000 plus car allowance, benefits and discretionary bonus.
