BD/Capital Raising Director - Residential Real Estate

The Role

  • To raise the profile of the company proposition and present it to institutional investors beyond their existing client base

  • The role will have gross /net sales targets as well as objectives in relation to compliant governance and client servicing

  • Build structured, segment specific institutional sales strategy and plans to execute and track

  • Use databases, other sources, and own existing network to identify prospects

  • Make face-to-face, email and telephone business development introductions to institutional prospects including Corporate Pension Schemes, DC / Auto-enrolment providers, (Real Estate) Fund of funds, Endowments, Charities and other institutional investors looking to allocate to UK Residential Property

The Candidate

  • Track record in raising and retaining capital from a range of institutional investors, predominantly in the UK

  • Background in Alternatives, preferably property/real estate and ideally residential property

  • Strong investment knowledge

  • Understanding of different fund structures such as open vs closed ended, listed vs unlisted funds, UCITS vs NURS vs unregulated funds

  • Numerically strong

  • Experience in promoting ESG funds

  • Proficient in the use of normal office software packages.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills combined with a strong, persuasive manner able to influence at all levels.
