Based Leeds

9-month FTC

Monday to Friday

Up to £32,000 (pro rata)

My client, an international and multi-award winning property agency, is seeking an Building and Property Manager to head up their Leeds development for a 9-month fixed term contract.

The successful applicant will provide on-site management of a luxury residential building, all let on the open rentals market. You will work alongside the Lettings and Renewals Negotiator to ensure a high level of customer service is provided to residents at all times.

Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Provide first class customer service to residents
  • Deal with all matters in line with service level agreement
  • Forge productive relationships with key service partners
  • Organise and coordinate tenant services
  • Ensure up to date resident communication
  • Support in creating a community, assisting in the arrangement of Resident Events and communications
  • Focus on reviews and improving standards and scores on Google and other platforms
  • Assist in resident communications and marketing through various channels including social media
  • Send weekly move in / move out surveys to current and previous tenants to monitor and improve service levels

Building and Apartment Management

  • First point of call for residents to report maintenance issues
  • Co-ordinate all contractor appointments and defect warranty repairs
  • Carrying out regular inspections of communal areas and apartments
  • Responsible for Health and Safety compliance coordination
  • Organise repair works between tenancies to maintain presentation of apartments
  • Assist senior management team with legal action and insurance claims
  • Act as the Responsible Person and Senior Fire Warden in the event of an emergency.

Marketing and Letting

  • Ensure communal areas and available apartments are always well presented
  • Assist the lettings team during busy periods with marketing and viewings

Asset Performance Management

  • Provide regular asset performance reports and attending monthly meetings with line manager
  • Achieving expenditure targets
  • Driving additional income streams

Requirements

  • AST Property Management experience (ARLA desirable)
  • Strong customer service ethic / background
  • Positive, can do attitude
  • Common sense approach
  • Outgoing, warm and friendly personality
  • Organised, meticulous, tenacious
  • Excellent written and spoken etiquette
  • IT literate
