Cobalt is seeking a Building Manager for a Grade A commercial development in the heart of Glasgow. You'll be working with a management company that enjoys a "hand-in-glove" relationship with the owners of the building, built over long years of working together, and will be taking complete autonomy for an asset of c,100,000 sq ft in size - giving you the freedom and flexibility to provide a first-class FM service within the property.
Key responsibilities will include:
Conducting regular site inspections of the asset;
Building lasting relationships with key stakeholders - chief amongst them your tenants;
Managing the work of hard and soft service suppliers;
Setting and managing the service charge budget for the building;
Ensuring a comprehensive planned and reactive maintenance service is in place, as well as overseeing any necessary CAPEX works when they arise;
Helping to create a H&S positive culture throughout the property, proactively managing risk and ensuring the building is fully compliant with health and safety legislation.
As the successful applicant, you'll have previous experience managing entire commercial developments (including common parts) and support your H&S knowledge with at least an IOSH qualification. A customer-service orientated attitude alongside a forward-thinking vision for FM is essential.
