Building Surveyor - Client Side - Landlord and Tenant
Our client is one of the largest property companies in the world. They have significant holdings in central London from which they recycle capital to reinvest. They have an exciting programme at the moment and need a Building Surveyor to join their operations team.

The estate is looking for a confident and driven individual to join their close-knit operations team to provide professional building surveying services; dilapidations, building surveys, tenant alterations, party wall awards, reactive and planned maintenance, technical advice and project management across the London Estate including residential, commercial, retail and heritage properties.
You will also provide support and advice matters relating to landlord and tenant, building defects and fire insurance reinstatement valuations. The role is very much customer focused, providing in-house Building Surveying support to the Residential Asset Management and Commercial Asset Management and Facility Management teams.
Hybrid working policy; office based in Central London. 2 days work-from-home and 3 days office-based from September onwards. Flexible hours with core hours10.30am - 4pm.
·Experienced Building Surveyor (MRICS preferable)
· Estate or Asset Management background highly regarded
·Proven experience working across Building Surveying
·Excellent knowledge of Landlord and Tenant legislation.
·Experienced in handling dilapidation claims.
·Experience of the licence to alter process.
·Working knowledge of current CDM Regulations and H&S Legislation.
·Knowledge of the construction of traditional and modern buildings.
·Experienced in diagnosing common defects in buildings,
·Experienced in managing building and maintenance projects and contractors.
·Professional, polite and well-mannered approach.
