Cobalt is working with a NHS Trust in Hertfordshire to recruit an interim Clerk of Works on an interim contract, paying £190-205 per day LTD rate (inside IR35, via an umbrella company).
My client is looking for someone to be responsible for the inspection and overseeing of the quality and compliance of the standard of fabric, materials and infrastructure in the installation of the elemental components of the Medical School Accommodation building.
You must be able to demonstrate:
The ability to undertake daily inspections of the contract construction programme.
Maintaining a daily diary of on-site labour, weather conditions including temperature and rainfall or any other event which would incur a potential delay to the construction programme
The preparation and provision of weekly update reports to be issued to the Head of Capital Planning and Development detailing progress, any delays and any deviations against the GANTT chart programme of works.
Responsibility for the safety of self and others through adherence to operating procedures and regulations.
