I am working with a market leading Real Estate company; they are are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Client Accountant to join their well established team, based in their London head office.
Within this role, you will have autonomy overseeing a commercial portfolio of properties, and be expected to ensure all scheduling and deadlines are hit effectively, in a fast paced environment.

Working independently, focused on a demanding client across a large portfolio of commercial properties
Liaising directly with the client to ensure all queries are resolved quickly and efficiently
Undergoing the service charge process, from loading the budgets to undergoing the year-end accounting including prepayments and accruals
Monthly and quarterly reporting, as well as reporting up to trial balance and extended trial balance where necessary.
Raising demands across rents, rates and service charges, and ensuring these are correctly apportioned to the properties within your portfolio.
Ensuring efficient communication between internal and external contacts, including property managers and surveyors and departments such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and the Cashiering teams.
A strong understanding of property management accounting, and commercial knowledge advantageous
Ability to prioritise effectively, and ensure deadlines are met in a timely manner
Prior knowledge of a property management system such as Qube, Yardi or Tramps
