I am working with a market leading Real Estate company; they are are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Client Accountant to join their well established team, based in their London head office.

Within this role, you will have autonomy overseeing a commercial portfolio of properties, and be expected to ensure all scheduling and deadlines are hit effectively, in a fast paced environment.

Specification

• Working independently, focused on a demanding client across a large portfolio of commercial properties

• Liaising directly with the client to ensure all queries are resolved quickly and efficiently

• Undergoing the service charge process, from loading the budgets to undergoing the year-end accounting including prepayments and accruals

• Monthly and quarterly reporting, as well as reporting up to trial balance and extended trial balance where necessary.

• Raising demands across rents, rates and service charges, and ensuring these are correctly apportioned to the properties within your portfolio.

• Ensuring efficient communication between internal and external contacts, including property managers and surveyors and departments such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and the Cashiering teams.

Requirements

• A strong understanding of property management accounting, and commercial knowledge advantageous

• Ability to prioritise effectively, and ensure deadlines are met in a timely manner

• Prior knowledge of a property management system such as Qube, Yardi or Tramps
