Remote Client Accountant
Remote working with 1-2 monthly visits to the Gloucester office

Cobalt is collaborating with a Commercial Chartered Surveyor situated in the Gloucester area to fill a permanent role for a Client Accountant. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar finance role within property management.
Responsibilities:
Process receipts and manage banking transactions, including cash and received cheques.
Verify and handle creditor invoices, addressing and resolving supplier queries.
Execute weekly payment runs to ensure timely financial transactions.
Generate client statements and produce ad-hoc reports as required.
Raise charges and process ad-hoc charges for various items such as insurance, utilities, and repairs.
Create tenant and internal invoices accurately.
Maintain comprehensive records for clients, tenants, and creditors, including the verification and submission of VAT returns to HMRC through MTO.
Person Specification:
Previous experience in a similar role within Property or Real Estate.
Great attention to detail.
Self-motivated and highly organised.
Ability to thrive under deadlines.
Able to work with colleagues within an existing team.
