Estates Manager

A London based trust is seeking an Estates Manager to join their property team covering their portfolio in the south London area. The role is on a fixed term contract with the possibility to go permanent following the initial contract period.

The role can be part time or full time depending on the candidate.

Key responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate heads of terms for lease acquisitions and renewals.

  • Advise and lead on the negotiation of lease breaks, lease surrenders, and rent reviews.

  • Coordinate the decommissioning of vacated leasehold premises.

  • Engage with Service and Operations colleagues where required on property and estates issues.

  • Ensure property records and information is kept up to date on the central electronic filing system.

  • Provide strategic property oversight of the Estate Portfolio.

Personal specifications:

  • Evidence of contributing to public sector Estate Strategy initiatives.

  • Relevant degree (and MRICS ideal but not essential).

  • Experience of stakeholder management and strong communication skills.

  • Commercial knowledge of Central/South London areas.

  • IT literate in Microsoft Office, Excel, Argus Investor and Argus Developer.

Salary: Day rate up to £350
