Facilities Manager

Cobalt is looking for an Integrated Facilities Manager to lead the FM provision for the corporate client of one of the UK's fastest-growing real estate businesses. This position will see you taking charge of the day to day management of your clients tenanted floorspace within a modern Grade A office building, before providing critical assistance in a major office move next year. This role therefore calls for an individual with a solid base of experience in providing IFM solutions but who nevertheless is keen to challenge themselves and grow their career within a major player of the industry.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for building/facilities related matters;

  • Leading a team of front-of-house staff, ensuring a high-level of professionalism and service delivery is met;

  • Ensuring full compliance with UK H&S legislation, as well as promoting a culture of sustainability;

  • Ensuring a comprehensive PPM schedule is in place and any reactive maintenance issues are seen to swiftly;

  • Coordinating and managing outsourced suppliers across hard and soft FM delivery

  • Management of the CAFM system;

  • Carrying out DSE Assessments;

  • Conducting regular floor inspections;

  • Overseeing physical changes to the offices such as the office relocation, office moves, and re-configurations where necessary.

Our client is looking for a professional FM with experience of managing commercial floorspace, with a keen understanding of the role quality FM plays in promoting a safe, productive, and enjoyable workspace for your client. An IOSH qualification is essential.
