Cobalt is looking for a Residential Facilities Manager on behalf of one of the driving forces behind the UK's property industry. Our client boasts an illustrious track record of developing and empowering their staff, ultimately allowing them to flourish in their role.

Having seen another period of sustained success within their residential function, they are looking to add to the team by hiring a new FM to take ownership of a portfolio of residential and retail portfolio in the West End, whilst receiving the training and support to carry out this role effectively.

If you are currently working as an FM or equally if you're looking for a step up from Assistant level, and are looking to take the next step in your career, this role may be one to unlock the progression you are seeking.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that regular inspections of the building are conducted in line with insurance requirements.

  • Regular monitoring of project works whilst updating the Project Manager on any progress or issues.

  • Arranging and attending residents' and client meetings where required to do so.

  • Monitoring all on-site staff performance on a daily basis whilst reporting progress back to the Property Manager.

  • Ensuring that high standards are maintained on the property at all times relating to the presentation and cleaning.

  • Managing and instructing repairs on-site, through sourcing quotes for the purpose of insurance claims using relevant systems.

  • Implementing contingency plans to ensure adequate site attendance to cover training, holidays, and sickness.

  • Acting as the first point of contact in the building in the case of emergency situations and attending the property as soon as possible to mitigate any potential risks.

Our client is looking for someone with a modern approach to work, whilst upholding the highest level of professionalism in their role. An IOSH qualification is desirable as well as a general understanding of new residential legislation.

If you are interested in this role, please apply immediately as this role may appoint before the closing date.
