Finance Manager

Cobalt are working with an impressive Global business to secure a Finance Manager into an important role that will have control and oversight for the MEA and APAC region.

This position will be solely responsible in overseeing the financial planning, oversight and reporting to ensure the financial operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Make recommendations on improving working capital

• Plan and prepare for financial audits by understanding organisation objectives, structure, policies processes, internal controls, and external regulations

• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the region, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions so they are accurately recorded and reported

• Review balance sheet reconciliations and conduction variance analysis to ensure corrective actions are undertaken in a timely manner

• Preparation of the Management accounts pack and commentary for each region and liaising with key stakeholder across the relevant areas

• Maintenance and review of the fixed asset register and depreciation ensuring key assets are accounted for

Requirements

• Relevant degree/qualification withing Accounting and Finance

• Several years of experience in the relevant regions

• Strong leadership skills are required; experience in managing teams remotely

• Experience of working within a global organisation and with relevant IFRS and Tax exposure

• Knowledge and exposure withing the engineering space, is desirable but not essential
