Fire Door Inspector (Residential Property)

Salary: Up to £35,000

Location: Hybrid, with offices near City of London

I am currently recruiting for a leading residential managing agent, who are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced H&S professional to join their team as a Fire Door Inspector and compliance expert.

Responsibilities:

• Follow a pre-planned schedule of fire door inspections to ensure compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022.

• Conduct routine inspections of communal and flat entrance doors across various locations.

• Ensure correct installation and adequate maintenance of fire resisting doors, guaranteeing they are fit for purpose.

• Travel efficiently and effectively between sites to meet operational requirements.

• To report all relevant information (e.g. location and rating of fire doors, type of seal, door details, etc) to the Health & Safety Manager.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of fire safety compliance.

• Attention to detail and ability to follow pre-planned schedules.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022) is desirable but not mandatory.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills.
