Cobalt is exclusively working with one of the UK's most well-known and prestigious real estate companies who are looking for a Head of Technical Services to join their team on one of the most prominent and illustrious mixed-use estates in London.

This is a pivotal hire where you will hit the ground running, reviewing the current management systems and procedures in relation to the electrical and mechanical services in place and you will use your wealth of experience to challenge them, and drive this forward.

If you are currently a Senior Technical Services Manager on a real estate portfolio and want to join an established team with a long-term vision and lead from then front, then this is for you!

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee and be responsible for the delivery of mechanical/technical services operations across the estate through the technical services teams and service partners.

  • Take and maintain responsibility for Health & Safety compliance for all technical systems and equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with all current legislation and recommended standards.

  • Attend key monthly meetings with team members and the associated service partners and report as required

  • Ensure newly handed over parts of the Estate have suitable utility contracts in place and all technical parties, including ESCo, utilities etc. are notified in advance of the handed over asset.

Requirements for the role:

  • Be IOSH or NEBOSH accredited

  • Fully conversant with Electrical installation and current IEE regulations

  • Knowledge of and understanding MEP, Fabric and Heritage within a Property Management Environment

  • Expererience managing a team of technicians and engineers

  • Operational knowledge of critical works and change management systems
