Health & Safety Coordinator

Cobalt is working with one of the UK's best regarded real estate businesses, with a well-earned reputation for developing their staff into industry leading property professionals whilst retaining an inclusive, sociable company culture. Our client manages a bustling estate in the East End of London, made up of commercial offices and retail/leisure amenities, and is looking for a switched on Health & Safety Coordinator to join the on-site team in driving forward a positive, proactive Health & Safety culture throughout the development.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Providing advice of H&S matters to stakeholders throughout the estate;

• Undertaking property inspections on a regular basis;

• Managing compliance of external suppliers, including by carrying out spot-checks where necessary;

• Managing and monitoring H&S systems;

• Managing training records and assisting in delivery of training for stakeholders on the estate;

• Assisting the line manager with developing proactive H&S policies and procedures.

Our client is looking for a positive and proactive H&S Coordinator from a previous property background. A NEBOSH is desirable but candidates with an IOSH qualification will be considered. You will be able to balance a meticulous attitude to health and safety with a personable approach to people management, as you will be interacting with a variety of stakeholders within this role - including occupiers.
