This is an interim role for 3 months with the intention to go permanent. Please be either immediately available or on a notice period up to two weeks if applying for this role.
What the client is looking for:
ACCA, ACA or CIMA finalist/newly qualified
Relevant experience within a property company
Accuracy of reporting information is paramount
Competent and highly motivated
Good analytical and interpersonal skills
Be able to work in a non- hierarchical environment
Over view of the role:
Assisting with the cash flow management of a rental stream of approximately £50m, including liaising with the respective residential and commercial managing agents and an involvement in the down loading\reconciliation of all monthly\quarterly managing agents' transaction data.
Hands on maintenance of the financial records of the subsidiary undertakings, including a full understanding of the general corporate structure and accounting systems.
Preparation of monthly\quarterly property reports to assist the Group with its internal reporting requirements.
Assisting with the quarterly management accounts for all property/non property entities, including monitoring the ongoing position against budget.
Assisting with the production of annual statutory accounts, preparation of full audit working papers and drafting of the statutory accounts for each entity.
Liaising with the auditors during the process.
Participation in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget process for the Group.
Ongoing improvement of processes for property financial\management reporting.
Ad hoc project work related to the general property portfolio
