My client is a progressive employer, seeking an addition to the lettings team to offer an unrivalled service to residents across their neighbourhoods. Growth plans over the next three years will see some 4,000 residential units so there are huge opportunities for development with this company.

Role

You will be a proactive and organised individual who will be able to carry out tasks through to a successful conclusion. You will be organised, efficient and able to work alone as well as take instruction from the Lettings Manager and Lettings Co-Ordinator. The key focus will be to ensure our customer enquiries and applicants are progressed through the applicant journey efficiently and with excellent customer service.

This will be an all-encompassing customer facing role with the key focus being to ensure all enquiries are answered, applications reviewed, viewings booked, and properties reserved in an efficient manner. The successful candidate will support the Lettings Team in the running of the lettings process and ensuring all legislation is adhered to, whilst delivering excellent customer service to all prospective residents.

Responsibilities

  • Deal with all enquiries relating to property lettings
  • Follow up on leads, book viewings and answer customer enquiries regarding properties and the applicant process
  • Manage the applicant database
  • Ensure excellent communication with applicants and general enquiries
  • Keep up to date with the lettings and property market and ensure that all current legislation is met, including 'Right to Rent' and the Tenant Fees Act 2019
  • Provide administrative support to the Lettings Team
  • Ensure each applicant is appropriately assessed in line with procedures and criteria
  • Follow company policy regarding registering applicants, taking/booking viewings, and processing applications
  • Be constantly aware of the many opportunities available within the lettings market and recommend ways to use them to the company's advantage
  • Aim to exceed the standards of performance and targets set, optimising every opportunity to achieve the company's goals

Requirements

  • Industry specific knowledge; lettings experience desirable
  • Holds a relevant industry related qualification and accreditation or would be willing to work towards
  • Knowledge of the Tenant Fees Act 2019
  • An understanding of the Right to Rent obligations
  • IT literate
  • A team player and willing to deliver on the detail
  • Motivated self-starter, with the ability to manage own workload
  • Flexible in your approach to your work and delivery
  • An excellent communicator
  • Ability to influence others positively
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a target driven, yet customer focused environment
