Based Birmingham

£20,000-£25,000 + commission and benefits

08:45-17:30 Mon-Fri, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays 10:00-16:00

My client, an international and multi-award winning property agency, is seeking an ambitious Lettings Consultant for their Midlands team.

Role

  • Negotiating fees with new and existing clients
  • Property viewings
  • Ensuring compliance checks have been carried out
  • Referencing
  • Managing deal progression
  • Preparing for and attending pitches
  • Writing property descriptions
  • Generating marketing material
  • Sending brochures to Landlords for confirmation of agreement to live advertising
  • Preparing social media campaigns
  • Updating EPC's and floor plans
  • Making and sending property brochures
  • Preparing window cards
  • Responding to all enquiries in a timely manner
  • Meeting and qualifying applicants
  • Providing feedback to Landlords and Tenants
  • Negotiating tenancies with landlords and tenants
  • Preparing for office audits
  • Arranging for re-lets and re-marketing

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a target-based environment, preferably within the property industry
  • Exceptional customer service ethic
  • Excellent IT skills (MS Office and other software)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment individually and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Confident in dealing with clients
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • ARLA qualifications preferred, not essential
  • Cantonese and/or Mandarin speaker preferred, not essential
  • Driving licence preferred, not essential
