Maintenance Operative

Cobalt has partnered with a growing client-side company to find a Maintenance Operative to assist in a industry leading Build-to-rent block in the heart of Leeds.

This provide reactive maintenance support for the site, as well as working closesly with contractors to assist with any major works.

Working in a brand new, state of the art residential development, the role is based on a single, static site in a fantastic part of Leeds city centre.

A level of plumbing, carpentry and minor electrical experience is necessary to be successful in this role, as well as a fantastic work ethic.

The role will consist of but is not limited to:

• Exercise initiative in responding to maintenance issues, liaising effectively with Resident Managers and other colleagues.

• Assisting with management of third party contractors to ensure completion of work and adherence to site health and safety procedures.

• Attend and constructively contribute to team meetings, sharing knowledge, developing and supporting new ideas and improved processes.

• Assist with the day-to-day management of reactive and preventative maintenance.

• Undertake pre-move in checks and flat inspections and recording of same. Complete all resultant actions in a timely manner;
