Managing Director, Acquisitions & Investments - Miami, FL
Founded by three highly successful industry veterans our client is a private Real Estate Fund poised to acquire and manage significant NNN lease assets in a rapidly growing asset class throughout the United States and Canada. They wish to hire an entrepreneurial Managing Director, Acquisitions & Investments to lead their growth.
The role
As a key member of the senior leadership team the Managing Director, Acquisitions & Investments will:
Identify NNN Lease deals throughout the US and Canada that offer excellent short-term and long-term upside for investors and clients alike.
Work with brokers, landlords, occupiers, industry bodies to continually generate new business opportunities.
Recruit, manage and lead a first-rate Acquisitions team that, in time, will begin to explore international deals as the market continues to expand.
Work with analysts to analyze, structure, underwrite and evaluate potential transactions.
Present acquisition opportunities to the Investment Committee for deal approval, financing and closure.
Work closely with Marketing, Asset Management and Accounting to ensure asset business plans are executed.
The Individual
In order to be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate:
At least 10 years of Real Estate Acquisitions experience where you have lead deals from inception to close.
A thorough understanding of NNN lease negotiations and the mental agility to work in a rapidly expanding asset class.
Whereas any NNN Lease experience is considered, knowledge of industrial, cultivation, warehouse and distribution assets would be a distinct advantage.
Excellent communication skills, strong relationship management ability and a persuasive, engaging style.
A strong educational background, ideally to MBA level.
The ability to travel extensively is critical given the nature of this role.
A home base or willingness to relocate to the Miami area.
