Opportunities are arising across the UK for Planners and we have seen a particular uptick in Yorkshire with Leeds boasting this exciting opportunity for an individual with experience within the renewable energy sector. The consultancy has a superb reputation across the sector for delivering schemes within the infrastructure, renewable energy and waste management sectors.

The last few months have proven challenging for everyone, but positively our client's workload has continued to grow due to their success within their areas of expertise and they require an experienced Principal Planner to join and help tackle the growing workload. With a presence and their workload spanning the UK the consultancy has a superb array of clients and requires an individual capable of managing challenging large scale renewable energy applications, in particular.

The role will include:

• Project management of multi-disciplinary teams

• The opportunity to lead on planning applications and have significant input into EIA's

• Working collaboratively with clients and other consultants on major projects that can include large-scale renewable energy schemes and waste management projects

• Analysing policy and advising clients throughout the planning process

​

The ideal Principal Planner will have either demonstrable experience of renewable energy projects and be able to hit the ground running and manage schemes within a short period of time after joining. Joining a growing team in Leeds means you will need to be an excellent communicator who can work well within a team, but also independently, as well as engaging regularly with clients throughout the process. You shall also hold chartered RTPI membership and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
