Project Manager - Mixed-use Student Accommodation Property Developer
Cobalt Recruitment has the pleasure of working exclusively with a Student-Living focused, prime real estate Investment and Development Company based in London. Backed by an American fund, this business works with 6 leading universities in London and owns and manages 3500 units across 7 developments. With further funding in place, this developer plans to increase their asset base to over 10,000 units by 2025 and therefore are looking to hire a talented Project Manager with solid knowledge of cost management and experience in the residential/co-living sectors.
Reporting into the Head of Development, the successful PM will deliver the development process of a mixture of new build and extensive refurbishment projects from inception through to practical completion; working closely with the development team, operations teams, property managers, finance teams and sales & marketing. You will be tasked with maximising value from sites through feasibility, procurement, contractor management, cost management and on-site delivery. We are looking for a person who will take control and be the point of contact to put forward the questions required to interrogate costs and project plans from a client, investor and end-user perspective.
Requirements:
Professional Qualifications - RICS (preferable)
Degree qualified; Real Estate, Quantity Surveying, Project or Construction Management
Experience in property development with experience on comparable prime real estate
Extensive experience and proficiency in managing developments from acquisition through to project completion
Cost Management background ideal
Excellent communication
Proactive, committed and enthusiastic approach
Remuneration:
Base Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 pa (negotiable)
Benefits: Pension, Healthcare
Bonus: 30% & LTIP structure
