Project Support Manager

Cobalt are working with a NHS Trust in Greater Manchester to source an interim Project Support Manager to support the acquisition and transaction team, paying £180-205 per day LTD rate (inside IR35, via umbrella company), depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be able to work across a number of partner organisations to support the delivery of programme objectives and timescales. Whilst the post holder will be supporting the acquisition and transaction team from an Estates and Facilities Management perspective, the key requisites for the role are strong project management and co-ordination skills.

You will have/be:

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in a specialist area.

  • Further training or significant experience in project management (e.g PRINCE 2/MSP), financial management, estates management or supporting change management processes.

  • Proven experience and knowledge of project planning software, applications and techniques.

  • Experience of co-ordinating a team of people on projects for a substantial period.

  • Experience of managing a project team in a real time environment.

  • Experience of working at senior level across boundaries, organisations and disciplines.

  • Demonstrable understanding and evidence of success in efficient and effective project and programme management.

  • Previous experience of working within the NHS or other public sector organisations.

  • Demonstrable experience of supporting service design and transformation.

  • Understanding of financial rules and regulations regarding funding of estates.

  • Clear communicator with excellent writing, report writing and presentation skills; capable of constructing and delivering clear ideas and concepts concisely and accurately for diverse audiences.
