A well-respected and established agency are currently seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee their Rural residential portfolio in Newbury on a 1 year Maternity Cover.

This is a unique opportunity to not only work for a high-end brand with a team that have an established reputation as leader in the country property sector. They undertake the management of Farms,, Rural Estates and Country Estates and advise on some of the most prestigious properties throughout Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and neighbouring counties. Their technical excellence and service ensures an impressive client base. Most clients are longstanding with several properties, so good client management skills are key.

Although this role is a 1 year contract, a permanent role with the team is not out of the question should everything go well.

What You Will be Doing:

  • Taking responsibility for the rural residential portfolio, including performing annual inspections, arranging maintenance and repairs and project managing works
    Conducting check-outs and organising smooth end of tenancies

  • Handling the re-letting process from start to finish including advertising properties online, conducting viewings, producing tenancy agreements and other documentation and arranging the check-in

  • Building strong landlord and tenant relationships

  • General property administration

  • Providing concise, practical and reasoned advice to clients

You will be:

  • Experienced within residential lettings and ideally rural property management

  • Knowledgeable and up to date with industry regulations

  • Ideally have experience with rural property management

  • Conscientious, positive and keen to be part of the team

  • Commercially astute and hands-on

  • Excellent people skills

  • Ideally ARLA or RICS qualified

  • Excellent IT skills including use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Full Driving Licence
