I am working with a FTSE 100 company and they are seeking a Purchase Ledger to join their London based team. Within this role you can expect high volumes and fast paced deadlines. This role is based in a well-established and successful unit and requires a dedicated and driven individual who can come in and hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing high numbers of invoices including matching, batching and coding processes

  • Dealing with multiple POs across an array of suppliers which may also including multi-currencies

  • Setting up new suppliers on the property management system and maintaining existing contacts, ensuring the ledger is balanced at all times

  • Answering supplier queries via phone and email and resolving any issues that may arise

  • Undergoing BACS and CHAPS runs on a frequent basis, as well as cheques runs where required

  • Ensure a strong rapport is continues across all internal and external parties so that month end accounts are accurate

  • Undergoing bank reconciliations across a number of accounts

Personal Specification

  • The ability to multitask and finalise all processes to strict deadlines

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Prior knowledge of a property management system such as Qube, Yardi or Tramps advantageous
