The Role
We are looking to appoint an Associate Consultant/Consultant to work and support the Town Planning desk here at Cobalt which has (and continues to be) one of the most established and successful desks within Cobalt. We are proud of our established client base but also excited about the opportunity to continue our growth and dominance of the market.

This will be a full 360° role working on a warm and constantly expanding client base, as the area has continued to yield strong results even through the challenges of 2020.
This desk is one of the top performing desks over the last 10 years within the business and focuses on Planning professionals predominantly within the private sector into our clients that include planning consultancies, real estate consultancies, developers and house builders. There is also scope for us to widen our work into the public sector and this is something that will provide you with a superb opportunity to develop.

A true Consultant is one who can consistently undertake all the following responsibilities:

Business Development, NFI & Business Plan Ownership

Understand a specialist market thoroughly and generate personal NFI from candidate and client management in a 360-degree role. Have a full understanding of the scope and range of services offered by the broader team and business and be able to cross-sell effectively. Understand and contribute to the team's business plan. Be aware of the full competitor, client and candidate landscape.

Account Management
Act as account manager for clients, ensuring that all Cobalt locations, teams and disciplines are involved in order to maximise revenue whilst providing a first-class service.
Terms of Business
Agree and establish commercially viable terms of business with new clients and understand and take ownership of interim processes
