Cobalt is representing a property investment business as they seek to add to their Facilities Management team across the London and the South. A bespoke real estate companies with a growing commercial portfolio, they are looking for future leaders of the business, with this role involving managing and mentoring a team of around 4 Building Managers too. Your personal portfolio will consist of a mixture of multi-let offices, boutique shopping centres, retail parks and a small number of industrial sites. The focus will be on London and the home counties, however there are a handful of properties in Bristol and Birmingham - although our client's long term aim is to regionalise the FM team as much as possible as they grow.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular site visits of the properties within your portfolio, in addition to visiting the London office of our client on a weekly basis;

  • Ensuring a comprehensive planned maintenance programme is in place for the plant and fabric of the building(s) ;

  • Ensuring full compliance with UK health & safety legislation;

  • Managing and mentoring a team of Building Managers;

  • Managing the work of outsourced suppliers, including having input into the procurement/tendering process where need arises;

  • Developing lasting working relationships with key stakeholders - especially your tenants to ensure a first-class FM service is provided.

You will bring previous experience in managing multiple properties, and support your existing knowledge with an IOSH qualification. As a mobile role, it's essential that you have access to your own vehicle and have a full clean UK drivers licence.
