My client, a multi-award-winning and leading global property business, is seeking a Negotiator for their expanding Manchester sales team. With over 150 years in the market and operating across all lines of the property industry, the opportunities for career progression are plentiful. The successful applicant will ensure that the department's instructions are marketed and sold with maximum professionalism and efficiency. This role encompasses all of the administrative components associated with marketing a house or flat for sale through to the successful completion of the transaction. The role will also be responsible for responding to customer and client enquiries, and assisting the sales teams with meetings, marketing, and local events.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out viewings with prospective purchasers
  • Handle daily buyer enquiries, calls and visits
  • Represent the vendors in negotiation with prospective buyers
  • Provide an exceptional first impression for customers when handling telephone, email and face-to face enquiries
  • Effectively market and promote properties for sale
  • Have a good understanding of the offer process
  • Confident sales progression, following sales through to exchange and completion
  • Maintain records on a daily basis, keeping in touch with buyers
  • Create advertisements for properties using the online portal; utilise social media
  • Manage own diary efficiently
  • Seek to build the sales business by using and developing contacts and creating new opportunities
  • Assist the Head of Department with market appraisals
  • Liaise with the sales teams to ensure the smooth sales of all properties
  • Maintain accurate sales brochures, price lists, specification lists and displays
  • Invoicing: process other agents' invoices, sales invoices, supplier invoices
  • Compliance: ensure all files are compliant and keep up to date with changes to compliance requirements
  • Draw up the agenda for weekly sales meetings
  • Assist with monthly reporting

Requirements

  • Experience in property sales or lettings highly desirable
  • Sales experience essential; driven by targets, goal-oriented
  • Ability to build rapport with a focus on gaining trust to establish long-term relationships
  • An intuitive approach, ability to think outside the box
  • Confident use of the telephone to generate leads from the database, excellent telephone manner
  • A genuine wish to offer unparalleled client care
  • Meticulous attention to detail
