Senior Corporate Accountant

Cobalt are currently working with one of the worlds leading investment managers to find a senior accountant to join their corporate finance function.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for crucial elements of the company's finances with the opportunity to work closely with head office and the UK / regional operational finance teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Reporting and liaising with external provider on all areas of tax, including but not limited to VAT, Corporation Tax, SAO documentation

• Compliance reporting and FCA Returns and creating efficiencies within the team, assisting with projects both at local and global level

• Balance sheet reconciliations and reviews across all business lines as well as intercompany recharges and reconciliations

• KPI Reporting and assistance with month and quarter end reporting to EMEA/Global teams as required

• Creating policies, processes, and procedures that add value to the wider team

• Ad hoc analysis and other tasks as required by management

Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified

• Comfortable building relationships across the business, at all levels of seniority, within and outside of the finance function

• Very strong technical accounting skills and excel skills

• Strong written / verbal communication skills

• Previous experience in directly managing people
