Senior Fund Accountant - Alternative Investments

Luxembourg - Hybrid

€70,000 - €75,000 + Bonus

We are excited to partner with a revolutionising fund administration company that focuses on a tech-led approach. This search is for a Senior Fund Accountant who has experience working with alternative investments and is looking to join a rapidly growing team.

Responsibilities include (But not limited to):

• Assist the Accounting Manager with daily client administration.

• Support team growth and act in a senior role.

• Review and manage accurate fee accruals, performance/incentive fee calculations, and payments.

• Oversee daily reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper entries.

• Calculate income distributions and support capital activities.

• Review and occasionally prepare financial statements with footnotes; respond to audit requests.

• Promptly escalate issues, suggest solutions, and meet client deadlines and SLA requirements.

• Adhere to and update procedures, controls, and best practices.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet client needs.

• Handle ad hoc projects and other delegated tasks.

Requirements:

• Experience working within accounting in the Luxembourg market. Preferably in the Alternative Investment industry.

• A strong understanding of Lux GAAP and IFRS is a must.

• Knowledge of and/or interest in new technologies.

• Professional qualifications such as ACCA or ACA would be an advantage.

• Fluent in English, and other languages would be a plus.

• Good communication skills and a desire to grow in a dynamic environment.
