Role: Senior Planner

Location: Kent

Salary: £55 - 65k based on experience with flexible hybrid working

Comanos is working with a multi-technology company developing large scale renewable energy projects across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the US and they have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Planner to join their team on the development side.

Day to day responsibilities:

• Working closely with the renewable developers delivering across a number of different energy sectors including EV, hydrogen, solar and micro-renewables.

• Site finding and feasibility.

• Pre-application advice, Screening and Scoping.

• Co-ordinating survey works.

• Submission of applications.

• Consent management including appeals (if required).

• Purification of planning conditions.

• Compliance monitoring on construction and operational phases.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Excellent knowledge of relevant planning and environmental legislation across the UK.

• Experience delivering across numerous renewable energy sectors ie. EV, Solar, Hydrogen etc.

• DCO experience.

• Proven ability to manage the formal pre-application and consenting works associated with commercial renewable energy developments.

• Ability to stand on their own two feet.

• Great ethos and work ethic.

• Ambitious and eager to grow within the business.
