Cobalt is proud to be partnering with one of the most well-established Managing Agents in the UK, who are looking for a Service Charge Accountant to join one of their Commercial Management teams.
This position is ideal for an individual looking to take a step up in their career or to join a business who are a household name in Real Estate. The business is happy to look at individuals from Commercial or Mixed-Use backgrounds, and desire someone who has the drive to succeed and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare Service Charge Year-end reconciliations.
Inputting Service Charge Budgets on to the Property Accounting System.
Producing Service Charge Income & Expenditure reports for Year-end Audit.
Complete Journals, Prepayments, and Accruals.
Reconcile the balancing year-end charges.
Monthly bank reconciliations.
Liaise with Property Managers, Surveyors, Treasury, and Client Accountants.
About You
Experience working as a Service Charge Accountant on Commercial or Mixed-Use Assets.
Technical knowledge and experience using a Property Accounting Software such as Yardi/Tramps/Qube/MRI.
Previous experience producing Service Charge Reports.
Ability to communicate effectively with Internal and External Stakeholders.
Excellent time management.
