About the Role

Credit Controller

West End, London (Hybrid - 2 days WFH / week)

£30,000 - £40,000 + Bonus & Benefits

 

Our client, a leading commercial property and asset management firm with over £30bn of assets under management, is looking to hire a Credit Controller to join their growing finance team.

 

This role sits within the Credit Control function and offers the opportunity to work closely with property management and client teams, ensuring the efficient collection of occupier charges while delivering a high level of service to stakeholders.

 

The Role

  • Manage the collection of outstanding occupier charges, including rent and service charges
  • Monitor and report on arrears, payment plans and collection performance
  • Work closely with Client Leads to support arrears strategies and enforcement processes
  • Engage with occupiers to resolve queries, disputes and payment issues
  • Produce aged debt reports and collection performance updates for clients and internal teams
  • Liaise with the Cashiering team to identify and resolve unallocated cash items
  • Maintain accurate records within property management systems
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory requirements and relevant industry standards

 

About You

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a credit control or similar finance role ideally within real estate
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience managing debtor relationships and resolving payment disputes
  • Ability to analyse arrears positions and produce clear reports
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and confident working with internal and external stakeholders

 

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (9am to 5.30pm) and Friday (9am to 5pm)
